VET Trainers in-service training programme for the 3D4DEAF project
Between June 17th and 21st, 2024, Emphasys Centre hosted the VET Trainers in-service training programme of the Erasmus KA2 school project 3D4Deaf —Promoting Digital Transformation and Social Innovation in VET to better access deaf students to the labour market!
19 VET trainers, teachers, professionals and deaf individuals from Poland, Spain, Italy, Greece and Cyprus attended the training to present, test and analyse all results and activities developed in the project to integrate the 3D4DEAF programme in schools.
During the VET service training, all the participants:
- Presented the educational pack developed for two modules, 3D Technologies and Social Entrepreneurship and in 8 topics in total
- Organised a practical workshop for the 8 topics
- Presented the digital tools developed, Interactive Learning Platform, Mobile Application and AR Game
- Presented the 3D4DEAF Methodology for professionals with guidelines and instructions on how to use the 3D4DEAF Programme in schools.
The group also visited the School for the Deaf in Nicosia. During the field trip the team provided appropriate educational materials for the school, thus contributing to the further development of inclusive education.
The training was a wonderfull ocasion to experiment with new 3D technologies to facilitate the learning of the deaf, foster collaborating with experts and participants from all over Europe and to create innovative and inclusive educational models.
