On June 24th, 2025, partners of the GreenSkills4Deaf project gathered in Turin for an international transnational project meeting hosted by the Italian partner ERGON. The aim of the meeting was to review the progress of the project, exchange experiences, and plan the next steps of implementation.

The day began with a warm welcome and practical information for the participants, followed by a study visit to the Academy for Deaf People led by Enrico Dolza and Nicola Della Maggiora. Afterward, Spoleczna Akademia Nauk presented the current status of project management (WP1), providing a general overview and outlining key updates.

The following session focused on WP2 – The Living Hub Programme, where partners discussed the state of progress and the development level of the various results. Challenges related to reaching deaf participants and collecting meaningful data were shared, and strategies for addressing them were exchanged.

Further sessions included:

  • WP5 – Dissemination, presented by ERGON, emphasizing the need for increased visibility and promotion of the project;
  • WP5 – Quality Assurance, where SAN introduced the quality monitoring structure and evaluation plans;
  • WP3 – GreenSkills4Deaf Training Pack, which officially entered its implementation phase and will consist of a comprehensive training toolkit;
  • WP4 – ENTRE2BEGREEN, with a presentation by DISE on the development of VR simulations, a mobile app, and a learning platform.

After a productive day of collaborative discussions and planning, the partners enjoyed a joint dinner at a traditional Italian restaurant. The evening concluded with a cultural activity in the city center – a fireworks show celebrating the feast day of Turin’s patron saint.

The meeting strengthened the collaboration between partners, allowed for an in-depth assessment of the project's progress, and set a clear direction for the upcoming months of implementation.
